1. BTS Building/Public Works + supervision experience

• Duration: 2 years (+ 3 to 5 years of field experience).
• Audience: Construction managers wishing to move to the “main” level.

• Where? Technical high schools, CFA (for the diploma), continuing education for the management component.

2. BUT GCCD/Pro Construction Management License (bridge)

• Duration: 3 years (BUT) or 1 year after Bac+2 (Pro license).

• Advantage: reinforces planning, metrics, quality-costs-deadlines management, preparation for middle management.
• Where? IUT, universities, CFA BTP.

3. Civil Engineering/Building Engineering Degree (or equivalent)

• Audience: Bac+5 profiles intended for the management of teams of drivers.
• Advantage: technical credibility on complex projects, financial and contractual vision for multi-projects.
• Where? Engineering schools (ESTP, INSA, Arts & Crafts, etc.).

4. Specialization certificates (OPC, Lean Construction, Contract Management, QSE)

• Duration: from a few days to a few weeks.
• Audience: Current drivers, sector managers.
• Advantage: concrete tools to smooth the load, increase the reliability of deadlines/costs, secure markets and promote prevention.
• Where? Professional organizations, schools, specialized firms.

5. Alternating (for the initial ascent)/VAE (for internal promotion)

• Audience: Young graduates (work-study)/experienced drivers (VAE).
• Objective: take charge of expanded areas (multi-sites, multi-teams) and have the experience officially recognized.
